This page covers how Johnson Ranch Landscape ("JRL", "we", "us") works with clients and handles your information. We've kept it short and direct on purpose — if anything's unclear, call (210) 383-1807.
Terms of Service.
Proposals & pricing
Every proposal is walked, itemized, and quoted in writing. Once issued, the quoted price is locked for 14 days from issue. Sign and deposit inside that window, the number doesn't move. Outside that window, the quote may be revised based on current material and labor costs.
Deposit, scheduling & work scope
A 50% deposit secures your install window and confirms the scope. Work begins on the agreed start date, weather and crew availability permitting. The scope listed in the signed proposal is the scope we'll build — changes mid-project require a written change order.
Final payment & walkthrough
The final payment is due after a walkthrough with the client. We don't take the last dollar until you've walked the job and signed off. Punch-list items are completed within a reasonable window after final walkthrough.
2-Year Native Plant Establishment Guarantee
Native plants installed through a JRL LandWorks project are covered for two full growing seasons, provided the recommended watering and care instructions are followed. If a covered plant fails to establish under normal site conditions, we replace it at our cost.
Exclusions: owner damage, neglected watering, animal damage beyond normal deer pressure, failed irrigation systems not installed or maintained by JRL, extreme weather events, flooding, freezes, herbicide drift, and site changes made after installation.
Estate Management contracts
Estate Management is a recurring service contract — monthly or seasonal, scoped to the property. Either party may pause or cancel with written notice. Existing route clients are grandfathered through their current contract cycle when rates change.
Discounts
The 10% Military & First Responder Discount applies to every project, every line item, on verification of service. Discount is non-transferable.

What we collect
When you request a proposal, schedule a walk, or use the AI chat (Bulls-Eye), we collect:
- Name, phone, email, property address
- Project description and notes you provide
- Photos and site information you upload during the proposal flow
- Basic browser info (referrer, page, timestamp) for analytics
How we use it
Information is used to respond to your request, schedule work, build proposals, and operate the business — through our service tools (Jobber for client and request management, Netlify for hosting, CompanyCam for job-site documentation, Twilio for SMS, Anthropic for AI chat). We do not sell your information.
How we don't use it
We do not sell or rent your contact information. We do not use it for any marketing list outside of our own client communications. We don't share it with third parties beyond the service tools listed above.
Photographs of finished work
We document completed projects in CompanyCam and may use anonymized "before / after" or detail photos on our website and marketing — never with your name, address, or identifying details unless you've explicitly given written permission. If you don't want your project photographed, tell us before work starts.
Data retention & deletion
Active client records are retained for the life of the working relationship and seven years after for accounting. To request deletion of your information, email johnsonranchlandscape@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
Cookies & analytics
The site uses basic analytics (Netlify Analytics, no third-party tracking pixels) to understand traffic patterns. No cross-site advertising trackers.
